The pursuit of creating the ultimate DC Comics Universe has stretched over decades and become a pursuit that has been captivating fans over the generations. As the DC franchise has grown, its collection of characters, stories, and worlds have become ever more expansive and varied.

The Mortal Kombat franchise has been around for decades, and as its popularity has grown over the years, so has the roster of playable characters. Now, we have a whole host of new characters that have been added to the game, and the most recent of them all is the reimagined character of DLC fighter, Shao Kahn.
Shao Kahn, who has been a staple of the franchise ever since his debut in Mortal Kombat II, was one of the most iconic villains to grace the franchise. While the original Shao Kahn was a powerful and menacing ruler, this reimagined version of the character takes things to an entirely new level.
This reimagined version of Shao Kahn has been given a whole new look, with his iconic headdress replaced by more modern armor and his trademark hammer changed out for a powerful staff. His movements have also been enhanced, as he is now much more agile and powerful than before.
Shao Kahn's moveset has also been completely revamped. Apart from the returning throws and specials from the previous games, he now has access to a suite of devastating close-quarters attacks that are sure to make opponents think twice before coming too close. He also has access to a variety of projectiles that can be used to keep opponents at a distance, as well as a few surprise tricks up his sleeves.
All in all, this reimagined version of Shao Kahn has been a breath of fresh air for the game, and considering how popular he was in the original games, it's no wonder that gamers around the world are excited to take on this new enemy.

Pokemon Red and Blue - Developed in 1996, these two titles set the standard for all future games. Red and Blue introduced gamers to the world of pocket monsters, the ability to capture and train them, and the first 151 Pokemon.
Pokemon Gold and Silver - Released in 1999, Gold and Silver brought to the world a total of 100 new pocket monsters. Trainers were given the opportunity to explore the Kanto and Johto regions, as well as two new mobile devices--the pokegear and poke phenomenon.
Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire - Ruby and Sapphire are the third generation of Pokemon games, released in 2002 for the Gameboy and Gameboy Advance. This was the first series with threedimensional graphics and introduced two new areas--the Hoenn region and the Battle Frontier.
Pokemon Diamond and Pearl - Released in 2006, Diamond and Pearl was the fourth generation of Pokemon games. This was the first game to introduce the popular Global Trade Station, and it also boasted 107 new pocket monster. Many other features were also introduced for the first time, such as the capture master system.
Pokemon Black and White - Released in 2011, Black and White was the fifth installment of Pokemon games. This was the first game to have a generation 5 Pokedex, and the introduction of the Pokemon Dream World allowed trainers to capture pokemon in a different way. This was also the first game to feature 3D animation.
Pokemon X and Y - X and Y were the first games of the sixth generation that were released in 2013. These were the first Pokemon games to be released on the 3DS and featured updated 3D graphics, Mega Evolution, and the ability to customize trainers.
Pokemon Sun and Moon - Sun and Moon, released in 2016, is the seventh generation of games in the Pokemon franchise. This game introduced trainers to the Alola region, and many new features such as Z-Moves, updated battle systems, and more.
Pokemon Let’s Go - Released in 2018, Let’s Go was the first game in the Pokemon franchise to be released for the Nintendo Switch. This game was released with two versions--Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee--and was the first game in the series to feature motion controls.
Pokemon Sword and Shield - Released in 2019, Sword and Shield are the most recent entries in the Pokemon franchise. This game has brought players a brand new region to explore, the Galar region, as well as dozens of new unique pokemon, a variety of new battle systems, and so much more.
