Many iconic moments have been created from the fame and success of Fortnite, so let's take a look at the greatest of them all.
Avengers Endgame Crossover
The likeness of one of our latest superheroes, Thanos, has graced the game in what was an unforgettable event for players. The challenge was set for players to locate and assemble the Infinity Gauntlet and when they succeeded, they got to wield the power of Thanos for themselves. It was an experience like no other in Fortnite.
Final Showdown With The Moon
After weeks of preparation, the unimaginable happened when Cattus, the creature living beneath the surface, burst from under the Island and made its way to the skies. The planet literally shook with its intensity resulting in a conflict between the duo of monsters and the unstoppable force of the players, in an epic battle for the final circle.
Rise Of Kevin
The Cube enters the battlefield and starts rolling in a set direction and as it rolls it shatters certain parts of the map and makes others appear. And last but not least, when the cube reaches the sea, it turns into a statue, Kevin, who can be seen at the new named location named "Loot Lake".
Remembering The Block
The Block was the most unpredictable of places on the map always displaying new creations from the artistry and ceeativity of the Fortnite community.
This iconic area served as the canvas of the community where everyone could come together and show what they were capable of.
The Block was such a popular area that Epic Games made it a permanent feature on the map, for all to enjoy.
The Ice Festival
The first Fortnite holiday event was an ode to the season of winter, where the entire map was covered in powdery white snow.
The island was touched with a festive feel, with a Christmas tree that was light up in Pleasent Park and snowflakes raining from the sky.
The event even included a special mode where players had to race around the island on a snowboard.
Battle Royale 30 vs 30
The Fortnite team put their creativity to the test with a unique spin on a game of Battle Royale. This limited-time mode pitted 30 players against 30 other players in a fight to the death (or respawn) much more intense and action packed than the regular game mode.
From Thanos to the Ice Festival, the Epic Games team have done well to create some truly legendary moments in Fortnite. May the game continue to surprise us with many more epic moments.
