The Walking Dead follows the story of protagonist Rick Grimes and a ragtag group of survivors emerged after zombies nearly wiped out humanity. As Rick and his group fight to survive on the new treacherous landscape, they must also deal with their own internal struggles, from lack of trust in each other to feelings of isolation and guilt. Each episode shows how each character grows and struggles with their various issues, whether it’s a lack of trust or struggling with inner demons.
Acting
The acting in The Walking Dead is excellent and helps propel the story along. Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes, Danai Gurira as Michonne, Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Negan, and Norman Reedus as Daryl Dixon all give powerful performances that add a human touch to the show's otherwise bleak setting. Other notable performances come from Lauren Cohan, Melissa McBride, Jon Bernthal, and Lennie James, all of whom bring depth and emotion to their characters.
