Tiger started playing golf at the age of two and impressed his father with his natural talent for the game. He went on to have a successful junior golf career, winning events such as the Junior World Golf Championships and the U.S. Amateur Championships.Turning ProIn 1996, Tiger Woods became the youngest ever to win a professional golf event, The Masters, at the age of 21. This gained him immediate fame and popularity. He went on to win the 1997, 2001, 2002, 2005 and 2006 PGA Championships. By this time he had become the highest career money winner in golfing history. He had become a superstar of sports entertainment.Personal Lows and Highs In 2009, Tiger Woods suffered a public scandal following allegations of infidelity with multiple women. This resulted in a break down of his marriage and a hit to his publicly perfect image. Tiger cognitively chose to focus on golf and began his comeback to the top. By 2012 he had won his first title in 5-years, the Arnold Palmer Invitational. In 2013, Tiger won his 5th Masters title and his 15th Major title overall.Recent TriumphsIn 2019, Tiger made history once more by winning his 5th Masters title and his 15th Major title overall. This made him the oldest victor ever at 43-years old. To put in perspective, he won 20 major championships and more than 20 PGA Tour titles. He is amongst the greatest golfers ever lived and the legend of Tiger Woods lives on.
